Terms and conditions:
The prize draw is available via the Internet in the United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland, and is only available to participants that are 18 years of age or older.
All travel prizes start in the capital where you live. If you reside in the United Kingdom, the trip starts in London.
To participate in the prize draw, fill in the form with your correct name, surname and email address and press the ”Submit”-button. You also have to confirm that you accept the terms and conditions, our privacy policy and that you are 18 years of age or older. You will receive confirmation of your participation on the website and via email.
Your participation gives you 1 chance to win the prize draw. You can notify you friends of the prize draw in the refer-a-friend form, and increase your chances of winning proportionately with the number of friends you notify, provided that they join the prize draw themselves. If you join the prize draw and notify 2 friends that also join, you will have 1 + 2 = 3 chances of winning. The reason is that if one of your friends wins, you will get a similar prize. It’s important to note that just notifying your friends doesn’t give you additional chances of winning – your friends must join the prize draw themselves. The maximum number of friends any 1 person can recommend to the prize draw to is 30. When you submit your friends’ details, you instruct us to send them an email on your behalf. You also let us send them up to 4 reminder emails in the campaign period.
Determining the winner is done using an automated computer process. This takes place at a predetermined time, stated at the prize draw web pages. The winner is chosen by random, and all participants have the exact same chance of winning. If the winner has been notified about the competition by another participant, then the other participant receives a similar prize.
Each participant can only join the prize draw once. If a participant joins more than once, he or she will only be counted as 1 participant. Joining with a name other than your own is not allowed, nor is joining on behalf of other people. Joining the prize draw is personal, and must be done by the participant. If a participant is in breach of the terms and conditions in any way, abuses the registration form or refer-a-friend form or cheats in any other way, Trendybuddies Ltd reserves the right to remove the participant and his or her friends from the prize draw.
Prize tax (if applicable) is payable by the winner. The prize is personal and cannot be handed over to another party. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash, and its content, duration or start-time cannot be amended unless this is specified on the prize draw pages. The winner will be contacted via email on the day the prize draw ends. The winner must respond within 1 week, and confirm that he or she wants the prize and that Trendybuddies can make his or her name publicly known and publish it with a photo on the Trendybuddies website, and in a newsletter that goes out to all participants in that particular draw. If the winner doesn’t respond, the prize is cancelled. Prize draw winners and people they have recommended cannot win new prizes until 6 months after a win.
When the winners have been drawn, we will send you an email with information on our next prize draw. As a service to you, you’re automatically participating in the next draw. If you don’t wish to participate, you can opt out by using the opt-out link at the bottom of the email. If you choose to carry on participating, we will send contact your friends 7 days after the start of the new prize draw and notify them on your behalf. We may send them up to 4 reminder emails in the campaign period.
When participating in the prize draw, the participant accepts the current terms and conditions and decisions Trendybuddies Ltd makes regarding participation, removal of participants, changes of time frame, setup and prizes.
